A tremendous charity competition organised by Maggie Morgan, the Lady Captain of the club, saw more than 80 golfers playing in aid of the Stroke Foundation. Guests and visitors from clubs around the area played in the event which was won by a team comprising of Terry O'Brien, Brian Oliver and Peter Parmeshwaer from Chorlton cum Hardy Golf Club with 85 points. The competition was followed by a charity auction, raffle and excellent meal in the club house. In total £2000 was raised for the Stroke Foundation. An excellent day was had by all who attended and Maggie and her organising team should be congratulated on making the day such a success.

We now look forward to the Mens Captains Charity Day which takes place on Saturday 23rd June in aid of Francis House.
