Do I have to register to use the website?

No, the site is public. We would encourage you to investigate and see what the site it is all about. If you have any questions or concerns just email us at info@whatsthescore.co.uk and we will get back to you within 24 hours

How do I register?

Good question − you will be happy to hear that it is quick and simple. Just click on the Register button on the main screen (or at the top left of the screen) and follow the instructions

Top tip − you will automatically receive email with your user name and password on it − save this so you do not forget them.

How do I log in and out?

When you have registered, simply navigate to the site (via www.whatsthescore.co.uk) and then enter your user name and password at the top of the screen then press the log in button at the top right of the screen

To log out simply press the log out button at the top right of the screen

What happens if I am on the site and get lost in all the different screens?

Easy − just click on the Home button (top left) or the whatsthescore icon (top left) and you will return to your page.

How do I join a club or society?

Find the society you would like to join in the society list (left of the screen), click on it, then click on Join society at the right of the screen.

Top tip − you have to be logged in to join a society

How do I move between different clubs and societies?

Simply click on the club or society you want to view (left of the screen)

Top tip − if you get lost just click on Home

If I am member of a club what can I do?

On that main screen you will be able to see the most up to date clubhouse comments, results, diary, pro shop updates, course report, and committee notices.

As a member you can add comments to the clubhouse, look at more details around each comment (if it says more detail) or see the associated pictures (if it says see picture)

How do I add a comment?

First log in (people know who you are)

Go into a club or society (by clicking on the name) and add a new comment − using the add notice box at the bottom of the screen

When completed click on publish

What happens if I want to add more details to the comment?

Write the detail in the add notice box and then click on add more detail to the right of the box. Then you can add lots more information.

How do I attach a photo to my comment?

Write the detail in the add notice box and then click on add photo to the right of the box, then choose the appropriate photo from your files.

When completed click on publish

What happens if I want to write more detail on a members comment?

To join a discussion simply write your comment in the box at the bottom of the detail and click add

If I am member of a society what can I do?

Societies only have a clubhouse comments, results and diary section, however all members can add results and put in events via the diary.

Top tip − to do this just press the appropriate button above the add notice section

What are my affiliations?

This is the list of clubs and societies you have joined − displayed down on the right of the screen

Top tip − to go straight to one of your affiliations just click on the name.

What is the notice board?

By clicking on the notice board you will see the main page for that particular club or society with a selection of the most up to date clubhouse comments, results, dairy, pro shop updates, course report, and committee notices.

What is the locker room?

By clicking on the locker room you will see all the club or society members and information about that organisation.

Top tip − by clicking on a member you will go straight to their profile.

What are the photos?

By clicking on photos you will see all the photographs added by members of the club or society you are presently in.

What is in the diary?

The diary logs all diary and results entries so you can see past results and future events.

Top tip − click on more details or see photo if they are present on the diary entry to see more information.

How do I use the diary?

You can move back and forward between months simply by using the prev and next button at the top of the dairy box.

How do I see the details / information about a club or society?

Click on the club or society and then click locker room on the right hand side of the screen.

How do I see my profile?

Click on your name at the top right hand of the screen (you need to be logged in)

Top tip − fill out as much detail as possible in your profile and add a picture − this helps other members to get to know you.

How do I add information to my profile, so people know more about me?

Log in, click on your name at the top right hand side of the screen.

Then its simple − to add details click on the drop down in the user profile details section − choose the topic and update your information

How do I add a picture to my profile?

To add a photo click on the choose file button next to your picture and choose a picture from your files.
