Course Update from our Head Greenkeeper, Phil Shakespeare.

Our Greenkeeper Phil Shakespeare and his staff should be applauded for their sterling work in making improvements across the course this winter.
Firstly the team extended the rear of the first green, which gives more options on pin placement both for comps & general play.
Then there has been the the reduction of trees between the 4th and 7th holes making them more playable without loosing the penalty threat - some of those trees have been re-planted on the 13th.
There has also been the addition of a path leading up to the 4th tee.
However probably the most important work has been carried out in putting the new drains in on the 10th green, it has been very extensive but will bring results in the coming season.
All this is part of the ongoing improvement work across the course - keep an eye-out for future improvements.
